DR Horton rose $.29 or 2.7 percent, to $11.21.
Hovnanian rose $.32 or 8.2 percent, to $4.22.
Lennar rose $.50 or 4.0 percent, to $13.09.
PulteH rose $.22 or 2.4 percent, to $9.23.
